A young driver has found themselves in hot water after being caught speeding on the 401 near Woodstock.
OXFORD COUNTY - An 18-year-old London driver is facing a stunt driving charge.
The vehicle was stopped by the Oxford OPP while travelling eastbound on Highway 401 near County Road 22, east of Woodstock. Along with the stunt driving charge, the driver is also facing a 30-day licence suspension, 14-day vehicle impoundment, and a costly lesson in poor decision-making.
This is the reminder police are putting out: at 169 km/h, there's little room for error. Slow down. No destination is worth risking lives.
