A fundraising dance will be raising money to help a local family after their home went up in flames.
All of the proceeds raised tonight will help out Terry and Paula Empey, after their home in Eastwood was mostly destroyed in a fire on January 7th 2017.
Organizer Marsha McConnell tells Heart FM there will be a toonie toss, a raffle, a penny sale and a silent auction.
"We have about 20 to 25 things in the silent auction including an autographed baseball from the Toronto Blue Jays and Dean Brody and Brett Kissel autographed CD's. The community has come together in the tonne load to donate some things for the silent auction."
McConnell says the Empey's are always there to help others when they need it.
