Two vehicles came to a crashing halt at the CN railway tracks in Woodstock on Friday night.
WOODSTOCK - Nobody was seriously injured after a two vehicle crash shut down the railway lines in Woodstock.
Police, Fire and EMS responded to the crash at the railway tracks on Wilson Ave on Friday night around 5:30. Police say a mustang heading northbound on Cedar Street was driving too fast when they lost control and veered into the southbound lane. Another vehicle hit the side of the Mustang and both vehicles came to a crashing halt right on the railroad tracks. The CN Police were notified of the collision and stopped the eastbound and westbound trains.
Unknown injuries were reported and both vehicles suffered serious severe damage. The driver of the mustang was charged with Careless driving.
