Youths interested in the medical field may want to attend an Open House being hosted by the First Oxford Med-RoVents Saturday afternoon. The Medical Venturer program provides those between the ages of 14 to 25 with the opportunity to explore the medical field through hands on training in first aid and emergency response. By working with a variety of professionals, they will receive their first aid credentials and training on state of the art simulators and equipment. Eventually, they take their skills to the field by assisting at scouting and local community events. No scouting or first aid experience is required to join. The Open House is at the Church of the Epiphany in Woodstock from 12-4 pm Saturday March 23rd and is open to the public to come learn more about the Oxford program.
