Fire crews are battling sub zero temperatures as they try to put out a fire at a multi residential complex in Downtown Waterford.
WATERFORD - A multi residential complex is on fire in Waterford right now.
Constable Ed Sanchuk says expect delays in the area.
"So we do have a multi residential complex on fire in Downtown Waterford, so if you are traveling in the area, expect delays, but again we are asking you to please yield to fire trucks, we had several vehicles who failed to yield to fire trucks, police and EMS arriving on the scene of this fire."
Right now police do not know if anyone is inside the building.
Sanchuk says he will provide us with more information when it becomes available.
"Everybody please get safe, and also a big shout out to all of our volunteer firefighters, the weather is absolutely freezing out here, I was at a call earlier and I can tell you that it is freezing out here, so please do yourself a favour, get home safe, enjoy the confines of your nice warm house and hopefully we will have some updates for you when they become available."
