After 50 years, St Joseph's School in Thamesford is saying goodbye.
THAMESFORD - It's a chance to share memories of 50 years of education at St Joseph's School in Thamesford.
The tiniest school in the London District Catholic School Board will be hosting a community open house Wednesday evening.
Chair of the Board Bill Hall says it's a great way for residents to say goodbye.
"The school will be closing in June and I think it's just a way for the community to come together, one last time as a community, while the school is still in session."
"I know it will be a bitter sweet occasion for most of the community there, with the school being closed but I'm hoping we can celebrate as well some of the accomplishments the school has made and the wonderful years they have had."
The event runs from 6:00 - 8:00 pm with a formal celebration planned for 6pm in the gymnasium.
