A pedestrian was struck and killed early Wednesday evening on Concession 10 in Norfolk County.

Norfolk OPP are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed early Wednesday evening. Police say a vehicle was travelling westbound on Concession 10 in Townsend around 5:30pm, when the driver hit a person on the side of the road.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Traffic was disrupted for nearly five hours as OPP Technical Collision Investigators assisted.
The deceased has been identified as 50 year old Jeffrey Scott of Norfolk County.
