Middlesex OPP have released the name of the woman who drowned near Thames Centre over the weekend. Police say the body of 49 year-old Peggy Heard of Thames Centre was found in a river at the rear of a farm property on Heritage Road Friday afternoon. When emergency respondents arrived, they performed CPR on the woman but despite their efforts, they could not revive her. Police say their investigation is on-going however foul play is not suspected at this time.
