A Kitchener man has died in a crash on Highway 7/8 near New Hamburg. The collision happened around 9 o'clock this morning when a Dodge Dakota, being driven by the deceased man, crossed the centre line, hitting a cube van. The van rolled, but the two people inside were unscathed. The truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and has not been identified. The highway opened earlier this afternoon.
