The County's Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is calling it a career. Michael Bragg says after 45 years of serving the county he looks forward to sitting back and reading a few good books. Bragg's career began in the mid 60's working as a Public Health Inspector. Some of Bragg's responsibilities for public health and emergency response included the 1978 polio outbreak, the 1979 tornado, and the 1984 food poisoning at the Oxford Regional Centre that resulted in 200 illnesses and three deaths. Bragg tells Heart-FM - its been a long haul "My 45 years in Oxford County has been very rewarding and we've lived through some difficult times together - disease outbreaks, tornadoes, you name it". Bragg will officially step down as CAO June 29th of this year.
