Oxford's water systems are safe and reliable. That's the result coming out of the Ministry of the Environment's annual inspection report. The County's Manager of Water Services Deborah Goudreau says every year they have to present the performance of all 19 drinking water systems. "The reporting includes everything from the M.O.E. inspections that are done on each system manually, to all of our water quality tests and analysis, anything that went wrong with the system and how we fixed it and repaired it". The testings are a complex process. "They (M.O.E.) come in and look at a whole range of things, they look at data down to 5 second increments for an entire year so they look at all of our data and they look at all of our test results, how we operated the systems, who our operations staff are to make sure that they are appropriately qualified". 16 of the 19 municipal water systems have completed inspection reports and have received ratings of 92% or higher.
