A familiar face could be the next East Zorra-Tavistock Deputy Mayor.
EAST ZORRA-TAVISTOCK - The Deputy Mayor ballot this year for East Zorra-Tavistock includes a current councillor.
Councillor Shirley McCall-Hanlon plans to make the jump this year at the municipal election.
She says she has learned a lot the past four years.
"It's been an exciting four years. I have found the last four years have been a real steep learning curve, but I have enjoyed every single step along the way."
McCall-Hanlon reveals one of the plans for the new council.
"The first thing that this new council will have to do is to recruit a new permanent Chief Administrative Officer"
The municipal election is on October 22nd.
