The Stage for Change is coming to help erase the stigma around addiction and encourage people to make a change.
WOODSTOCK - The Stage for Change is coming to Woodstock.
It is all part of Addictions Awareness Week and the free concert will happen this Friday night at the Church of Epiphany in Woodstock starting at 6 p.m. CMHA Oxford Executive Director Mike McMahon explains who is bringing the free concert to Woodstock.
"Addiction Services of Thames Valley, the foundation that supports Addiction Services is called the possible campaign and they are visiting Woodstock this Friday."
The concert will feature live performances from Abby Stewart, Bailey Pelkman, Evergreen, and Carter Nichol. McMahon explains the reasoning behind the Stage for Change name.
"Maybe some people are ready for a change in their life and seeking support for the addiction illness that they have struggled with for a long time so it's a Stage for Change."
