Police say it was a case of intimate partner violence.
PARIS - An intimate partner violence investigation has resulted in the arrest of a 35-year-old.
They were charged with assault (choke, suffocate or strangle to cause bodily harm) and failure to comply with undertaking yesterday morning, after Brant OPP officers responded to a disturbance at a home on Grand River Street North.
The call came in at 6:30 a.m. and Victims Services also attended the scene to offer support.
