Electro-Motive Workers and CAW Local 88 members continue to block a locomotive in Ingersoll. The locomotive was made at Electro-Motive prior to the January 1st lockout of over 400 employees. The locomotive was spotted last night, on the information that it was set to be moved in the morning to be painted. The workers believe the locomotive is headed to Salford to be painted. That work would have been done by workers like Ingersoll's Paul Doma, who told Heart FM they need to stand up to the corporate greed of Caterpillar, who are asking the workers to take a pay cut after posting record profits. "There's nothing wrong with them making good money, it's a profitable company. But you know what?...the people that make your product are making your profit for you." The protest started around 5:30 this morning and OPP have been on scene keeping the peace. CAW Local 88 President Dan Borthwick says they plan on keeping the blockade going through the night. "We're going to stand here as long as it takes."
