
A report summarizing the findings will be presented to Oxford County Council this Wednesday.
OXFORD COUNTY - A total of 1,550 Oxford County residents took the 2026 Budget Survey.
More than 720 comments were submitted and they will be included in the report presented to Oxford County Council this Wednesday.
It says 35 percent of respondents selected housing as an area for increased service levels. It was followed by long-term care at Woodingford Lodge with 32 percent and child care and EarlyON services with 27 percent.
The report also says 43 percent of the respondents ranked paramedic services as their top priority, followed by affordable housing at number 2, municipal infrastructure at number 4, long-term care at 5, and waste management at 7.
Sixty-two percent of respondents felt they received a good or fair value for their tax dollars, while 32 percent said it was poor.
