Some delicious baked goods, homemade jams, sauces and crafts will be on sale in Innerkip this Friday. All funds from the bake sale will go to support MS and ALS.
INNERKIP - A group of kids and a grandma are hosting a bake sale to raise funds for ALS and MS on Friday in Innerkip.
Kelly Wiley says they will have tons of goodies for sale including homemade mustard.
"One of my little granddaughters has made homemade jam, one has made bits and bites, one little girl has made posters for us and bracelets, I have a little guy here who has made lemon loaves, blueberry loaves and zucchini loaves. I have another little girl here who will help make cheese cakes, we have a ton of crafts, tea clothes, t-shirts, tea towels and everything will go to support MS and ALS."
Wiley explains why they started this fundraiser last year.
"These are three little granddaughters of mine a few other little kids who live in Innerkip. This year we thought we wanted to do the bake sale again and this time we wanted to do it for people living with MS and ALS because both of those diseases have touched our family and friends."
Last year they raised $800 for fibromyalgia.
It's all happening on Friday at 12:30 at 148 Blandford Street in Innerkip. Stop by, grab some delicious goodies or crafts and help support a great cause. They will also have a draw you can enter for a chance to win and ALS Afghan or a MS lap quilt.
