Norfolk OPP are looking for two suspects involved in an attempted abduction as well as a good Samaritan who thankfully intervened.
NORFOLK COUNTY - Norfolk OPP are reminding everyone to be careful after an attempted abduction.
It happened on Highway 3 east of Simcoe Street in Norfolk County on September 6th around 4 p.m.
A white van drove up to a woman as she was walking along the highway. One of the two men inside asked the woman if she wanted a ride. When she said no the man tried to pull her into the van. Thankfully a nearby citizen stopped and helped the woman.
The white van was last seen driving east bound on highway three.
Norfolk OPP are looking into the incident, and would like to talk to the good Samaritan who stopped to help.
The vehicle used in the attempt is described as a white cube or cargo van with no decals. It had silver rims with a black front grill and a bit of rust. The windshield was cracked from the top corner on the passenger side. The rear doors open outwards with small tinted windows, while the sliding door on the passenger side had a large tinted window. The passenger side of the van was rusted along the bottom edges and around the wheel wells. The interior of the van was dark coloured (possibly black).

At the time he was wearing a dirty beige t-shirt, jean style shorts that came to his knees and black running shoes.
