It was in the emergency department of Alexandra Hospital Friday night.
INGERSOLL - Southwestern Public Health is sending an urgent call for prevention.
A potential exposure of measles has occurred at Alexandra Hospital in the emergency department. It is said to have happened between Friday at 11:57 p.m. and Saturday at 2:13 a.m.
This is the fourth exposure in a health care setting and third hospital exposure since November. Here in Oxford County, the health unit reported exposures at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital and Woodstock Hospital earlier this month.
If you were at the emergency department during the timeframe and were born in 1970 or later, and are not up-to-date with your vaccinations you are being asked to call Southwestern Public Health.
You can learn more about measles, vaccination and more by visiting the Southwestern Public Health website.
