An early morning collision in East Zorra-Tavistock claims the life of one person.
EAST ZORRA-TAVISTOCK - Oxford OPP has released an update on the fatal collision.
During the July 4th collision that happened on 16th Line at Cassel Road in East Zorra-Tavistock, a 34 year-old driver was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Oxford OPP has recently been informed that the driver from Waterloo has passed.

EAST ZORRA-TAVISTOCK - Oxford OPP among other first responders were called to a two-vehicle collision.
The incident happened this morning at 7:30 a.m. on 16th Line at Cassel Side Road in East Zorra-Tavistock. Media Relations and Community Safety Officer Randi Crawford brings this update from a post on the OPP West Region social media pages.
"Unfortunately, I am here to report that one person was pronounced deceased on scene, another person was rushed to the hospital and remains in critical condition, and one other person was taken to the hospital as a precaution."
Crawford adds there will be closures in the area.
"Sections of 16th Line as well as Cassel Road will be closed for a long period of time while our investigators continue to investigate the scene."
Crawford reminds motorists to follow the rules of the road to ensure everyone stays safe. She says more updates will be released when they become available.
