The new Spring and Summer Recreation and Leisure Guide has been released to the public.
WOODSTOCK - If you're looking for some fun things to do around town, the City of Woodstock has released the 2019 Spring and Summer Recreation and Leisure Guide.
Staff Representative Emma Vondervoort says there are a lot of things happening this year, including new summer camps.
"We have a lot of new summer camps this year, so that is definitely something to look out for. We've almost doubled in size for our summer camps."
Vandervoort says the guide offers a variety of programs.
"The recreation guide covers programs that we offer from the end of March Break all the way until August 31st. So it covers quite a widespan of time and it includes programs offered through the recreation department, including Aquatics, culture, (Woodstock) Museum, (Woodstock) Art Gallery, all those different activities are there as well, including our summer camps too."
In addition to the variety of programs the guide highlights, there are programs also available for children, adults and seniors.
Registration for the recreational summer camps and the Woodstock Art Gallery begins on March 6th, and the Woodstock Museum's summer camps registration date is on March 27th.
2019 Spring and Summer Recreation and Leisure Guide is available here. Hard copies are also available for pick up at various city facilities.
