A transport truck containing $70,000 worth of pistachios was stolen in Wilmot Township Saturday night.
WILMOT TOWNSHIP - The Waterloo Regional Police Service is trying to crack the case of a stolen transport truck in Wilmot Township.
It was loaded with about $70,000 worth of pistachios when it was taken from the yard of a business in the area of Foundry Street and Gingerich Road at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night.
This is the second nut-related vehicle theft for the WRPS in the last three months, after a truck containing walnuts was stolen in the area of Eagle Street North and Hespeler Road in Cambridge on November 5th, 2023.
