The 50-year-old is facing one count of operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs.
WOODSTOCK - Charges have been laid after a vehicle hit a guardrail in the Roth Park parking lot.
Woodstock Police officers were called out to the scene at around 6:30 a.m. yesterday.
They arrested the 50-year-old who was behind the wheel and conducted a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) evaluation. The police service says its officers have been trained as DREs, so they can detect and evaluate impairment caused by drugs.
The driver has since been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs. They also face a 90-day licence suspension and their vehicle has been impounded for a week.
