Woodstock Police are trying to understand how the community feels about the services they offer with a 10 minute phone survey.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police will be conducting a telephone survey to get a better idea of how they are doing.
Inspector Paul Hess tells Heart FM they really hope people will take 7-10 minutes to fill out the survey.
"Well we are trying to gain some community feedback. It is part of our business plan that we are putting together and we are just trying to seek some input from the community and it will help shape some of the services that we deliver to the public."
Hess explains what type of questions they will ask in the survey.
"Would they like to see different types of patrols, namely more bicycle or foot patrols vs vehicle patrols, it asks about your feelings of safety in Woodstock. There are some satisfaction surveys in terms of how you felt about the level of service you received when you came into the front desk or when you spoke to dispatchers or when you had interaction with the officers."
The survey is conducted by Oraclepoll Research and will start on June 6th for 10 days.
People who don't receive a phone call can go to the Woodstock Police's website and fill out an online version if they would like to. The link for the online survey will be live starting on Monday.
