Woodstock Police dealt with six collisions over the weekend, including one with a pedestrian.
WOODSTOCK - It was another busy weekend for the Woodstock Police who responded to a 124 calls for service.
Police were called out to six motor vehicle collisions over the weekend. Luckily nobody was seriously hurt in any of the incidents. One of the crashes involved a pedestrian. Police are reminding drivers to pay attention to the road, obey all rules and put away all communication devices so not to be distracted.
Officers also dealt with a number of calls where people had their cars broken into. Several minor thefts occured this weekend where things like money and other personal belongins were stolen. Police remind people to make sure that your vehicles are locked and items such as loose change or GPS units are out of sight.
A 34 year old man from Woodstock is facing a number of charges after getting stopped by Police on Ingersoll Road on Sunday. Police say they caught the man speeding and when they pulled him over they also discovered hew as driving with a suspended license. Officers also claim to have found a controlled substance in the car and the man is now facing numerous charges.
