A pair of incidents in Woodstock have led to charges from Police.
WOODSTOCK - A 49-year-old Norwich woman is facing drug possession charges.
There were reports that someone was attempting to break into vehicles in the area of Parkinson Road and Universal Road last Saturday. At 11:30 p.m., police responded to the area and upon arrival, they observed a U-Haul truck parked on the premises.
After an investigation, the woman was arrested and is facing charges of one count of Possession of a Scheduled I Substance – methamphetamine, and one count of using altered plates under the Highway Traffic Act.

WOODSTOCK - A 22-year-old male is facing Highway Traffic Act charges as well as a driver’s licence suspension.
Police were called to Southside Park yesterday, for reports of a disturbance by youths in the public washrooms. Police attended the area and conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle, driven by a 22-year-old male with three teenage occupants. The officers seized several open alcoholic beverages from the motor vehicle, as well as $11,060.00 in counterfeit Canadian bills.
The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation and transported to Police Headquarters. The 22-year-old from Sundridge was issued with a 7-day licence suspension and charged with being a novice driver with a blood alcohol concentration above zero and driving a motor vehicle with open liquor.
The investigation is continuing with charges pending for the counterfeit money.
