Peel Regional Police have charged a 25-year-old man from Woodstock and a 24-year-old man from Sydney, Nova Scotia in an assault investigation in a Brampton parking lot.
BRAMPTON - Two people have now been charged in an assault investigation Brampton.
Peel Regional Police say the incident happened in a parking lot in the Steeles Ave and Mclaughlin Road area on Sunday August 28th.
A video circulating online shows a group of people involved in a fight and one of them was wielding what appears to be a sword. Several people sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Police charged 25-year-old Harjot Singh of Woodstock last week and they charged 24-year-old Mansharan Malhi of Sydney, Nova Scotia this past Sunday. Singh is facing two counts of assault with a weapon and Malhi has been charged with one count of assault.
