The Little Caesars on Dundas Street received its international training certification a few months ago and it's currently training two gentlemen who will be the first Little Caesars franchisees in the UK.
WOODSTOCK - You might be able to spot some new faces if you stop by the Woodstock Little Caesars.
The Dundas Street location has been training two gentlemen who will be the very first Little Caesars franchisees in the United Kingdom. Marianne Schuts, the owner of the Woodstock location, says their training began last week and it's scheduled to end on November 11th.
"It has been a lot of fun learning from them. They own multiple businesses, so you try to take what you can from them as well so it's a learning opportunity for everybody. The staff also like having extra people in the store and getting to know them. It has been very exciting!"
The Woodstock Little Caesars received its International Certified Training status a few months ago. This means the store is able to train Little Caesars employees from across Canada and around the world.
Schuts says it was a very rigorous process in order to become certified.
"We have to make sure that we do every food safety-wise, everything cleanliness-wise, and have all of the assistance tools in the store to help the trainees be successful. It required three visits and we had to score 95 percent or higher on all three visits and we ended up getting 100 percent, so we're quite proud of that."
Since receiving their certification, the Woodstock Little Caesars has also trained employees from Little Caesars head office.
Schuts says it's a very exciting time for her store, adding those craving Little Caesars can now order it through Skip the Dishes. You can also order through Door Dash and the Little Caesars smartphone app.
