A new online survey will help shape the future direction of the Woodstock Public Library.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Public Library wants your feedback to help them prepare for the future.
An online survey is available at the public library web site. It asks a wide range of questions about how the library operates, what they do well and what they could do better. CEO Bruce Gorman tells Heart FM the survey only takes about 10 minutes and asks a variety of different questions.
"What kind of programming do you like, we ask about our hours, we ask some open ended questions about what you would like to see out of your public library, it's pretty all encompassing, asks pretty much anything you could expect about this public library."
Gorman says the survey is part of their five year strategic plan where they want to get plenty of public feedback.
"It will help us set our priorities, focus our energy and our resources, strengthen our operations and ensure our employees and our stakeholders are working toward common goals and most importantly it's aligning ourselves of the needs for the residents of Woodstock."
The library is also hosting two public consultation meetings in July at Goff Hall.
They are happening on July 12th and 13th starting at 7 p.m.
