This year's theme for the Woodstock Fair is "where City Boots meet Country Roots"
WOODSTOCK - Despite the busy city life that's all around us, the upcoming Woodstock Fair hopes to show the community that we are still dependant on the country life.
It will take place between Thursday August 23rd and Sunday August 26th this year.
It will include many activities including the popular midway, demo derby and agricultural displays.
Maria Reis, Manager of the Woodstock Agricultural Society says they have a special theme this year; Country Roots and City Boots.
"It's really important to understand that we are one big community, and that we are all still very dependant on agriculture."
Reis hopes the free admission would allow this event to be affordable for the whole community.
"We really hope that our members of the community come out and have some fun, meet up with old friends and make some new ones."
The Woodstock Fair has been a staple in the community since 1836.
