Toonie Day at the midway, a pie contest, and the Holstein Show all get underway today at the Woodstock Fair.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Fair kicks off today for its 180th year.
The gates, buildings, and midway officially open as of 4 p.m. this afternoon.
Agriculture Society Board member Karen Trick says there's lots of delicious goings on today as well.
"We have a pie contest tonight - people are entering their pies that they're making at home and then there's a pie auction after for all the winners and all of the pies."
Trick expects a lot of people will come out and have a great time as they celebrate the major milestone.
"We have midway rides today for two dollars, there's free bouncy castles all weekend long, Old McDonald's Barn has changed a little bit this year but still lots of animals, and then on the Aud stage there's activities every half hour."
