WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Chamber of Commerce has a new General Manager.
Former United Way Oxford employee, Mike Crabbe has been named to the position.
He says working with the previous GM, Kim Whitehead has made the transition smooth.
"She's got so much knowledge and depth within the community, that it's been an easy step in and big shoes to fill, but she has made me feel very welcome."
Crabbe mentions why he made the switch from United Way to this position.
"Having this opportunity to have a hand in bringing people together to support our local businesses and help them thrive is a wonderful thing to have a part in. I was very excited to apply when the position became available."
Crabbe says he wants to make sure the events that have done well continue to stay that way, as well as look at new ways to engage the community.
