The Woodstock Wolverines have had a touchdown of a season and it is not over yet.
WOODSTOCK - An undefeated season has the Woodstock Wolverines headed to the playoffs.
They finished the season with a perfect 9-0 record.
Head Coach Chris Camboia says their hard work and effort paid off for them.
"I think when we talk about their success this year, the players would attest that it started way back in November when there was snow on the ground, and people were singing Christmas carols out in the malls and they were in the gym working hard."
Their next stop will be the semi-finals in the playoffs against North Bay.
Camboia had all good things to say about their upcoming opponents.
"A good group from North Bay. A lot of respect for those guys. We've played them twice this year. They're much improved. The winner of that game will move on to play in the Ontario Football League Championship for the Ontario Provincial Championship."
They will face North Bay this Saturday at noon at CASS.
The winner will earn a spot in the Ontario Football League Championship.
