Chatham's very own Michaela Lucio won the best in show award for her piece titled “Tales of a Needleworker”
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Art Gallery has handed out top honours during its annual juried art exhibition.
Four artists took home the honours, as Visual Elements 66 had 32 artists featured from across Southern Ontario.
The best in show award went to Michaela Lucio from Chatham for her piece titled “Tales of a Needleworker”. Honourable mentions were also given to Reilly Knowles of London for “One Last Burn,” Laura Bydlowska of Toronto for “Solitary,” and Jamie Dickson of Burgessville for “Woman Weaving Fish Net.”
Visual Elements gets given every summer to show the talent in Oxford County and surrounding areas. The awards were announced on September 7th, and the exhibit can be seen until Saturday.
