TILLSONBURG - Whether high in the sky or down on the ground, at Wings & Wheels Family Fun Day, there is fun all around.
The Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association (CHAA) will hold its Wings & Wheels Family Fun Day event tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and it will be in person for the first time since 2019 at Tillsonburg Regional Airport.
Terry Scott, Public Relations Chair for the CHAA gives a bit of insight on what you can expect at the event.
"It will be a very busy day with lots of activities for the family and kids and lots of opportunity to see the aircraft. We will have educational displays, various fundraising activities, food trucks - you won't go home hungry - we'll have a silent auction and much much more."
New to the 2022 Wings & Wheels Family Fun Day is the garage sale and book sale.
There will plenty of different land vehicles such as classic cars, trucks and motorcycles as well as the vintage Harvard planes and other visiting aircraft. Not only are they a sight to see, it’s also a great opportunity to learn about an impressive element of Canada’s aviation history and enjoy a flight experience in a Second World War vintage aircraft.
There is no admission fee, but the CHAA will be accepting donations.
