Around 180 people were treated to a free Christmas dinner with all the trimmings on Monday night at the Wimpy's in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Wimpy's in Woodstock served a big turkey dinner this week.
Wimpy's hosted the dinner in Woodstock on Monday evening, in collaboration with Operation Sharing.
The dinner came with all the trimmings, feeding about 180 less fortunate people in the community.
Owner Mor Chowdhury explains why he hosts this event every year.
"It's Christmas time and the holiday period, we always think about the less fortunate and some less fortunate in our community won't even have a nice meal for the holidays. So that is why we do this every year, this is our fifth year hosting the Turkey dinner."
Chowdury says they close down the restaurant every year for the event.
