A Ford Escape was hit by a loose wheel on the 401 westbound near Drumbo on Wednesday night.
OXFORD COUNTY - Nobody was injured after a loose wheel from a transport truck hit a Ford Escape on the 401 just west of Oxford Road 29.
Police say the SUV was hit by a drive axle that came dislodged from a 2011 white Volvo transport truck on Wednesday night. Police caught up with the transport just west of the scene of the collision.
Oxford Detachment OPP are continuing to investigate this wheel off incident.
