The Toronto Star is reporting that Elizabeth Wettlaufer was fired from a nursing home in Woodstock after a near fatal medication error.
WOODSTOCK - A report in the Toronto Star indicates that accused serial killer Elizabeth Wettlaufer was fired from the Caressant Care Nursing Home in Woodstock in March of 2014.
According to the paper, Wettlaufer was dismissed for a "medication error" that put a residents life at risk. Despite being terminated Wettlaufer continued to work as a registered nurse right up until she was charged with 8 counts of first degree murder.
She is now facing an additional four charges of attempted murder and 2 counts of aggravated assault.
Wettlaufer will be appearing via a video conference at the Woodstock court house on Friday March 3rd.
