UPDATE: The tornado warning has been called off in Brant County.
A severe thunderstorm warning has taken its place. Environment Canada says we could see wind gusts up to 100 kilometres per hour this evening, along with nickel size hail.
The severe thunderstorm warning has been called off for Oxford County, but the heat warning remains in effect for both Oxford and Brant.

OXFORD/BRANT - It's time to batten down the hatches if you live in Brant County.
Environment Canada has issued a tornado warning for Brant. It says severe thunderstorms in the area could possibly produce a tornado, with wind gusts up to 110 kilometres per hour possible. The storm could also bring large hail and heavy rain.
This storm is about five kilometres east of Ayr and it's moving at about five kilometres per hour. The list of affected areas includes St. George, Harrisburg, Osborne Corners, Glen Morris, Wrigley Corners, Pinehurst Park and Bruces.
In the event of a tornado, Environment Canada says you should go indoors and head to the lowest floor of the building, all while staying away from windows.
We're currently under a severe thunderstorm warning in Oxford County. The heat warning also remains in effect for both Oxford and Brant.
