UPDATE: Police are investigating a vehicle robbery.
Police say the "Mike's Automotive" truck was stolen around 6:15 pm on Monday on Norwich Ave near the Wendy's. The suspect pulled out an edged weapon trying to steal a vehicle. He then fled the area in a stolen vehicle.
An 84 year old woman was transported to the hospital with a minor injury.
The Woodstock Police Service would like to thank the public for assisting the victim in the altercation and while waiting for emergency crews. Police would also like to thank the public for their help in providing information about the stolen vehicle. Further updates will be provided when more information is available.
Police are still searching for the 2013 GMC Sierra pickup truck.

If you have seen a stolen black 2013 GMC Sierra pickup truck licence number AT16890 with "Mike's Automotive" white lettering across the rear window call 9-1-1 immediately.
