Ministry of Labour Staff will be in Woodstock on Friday morning to answer any questions you might have. General Manager of the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce Kim Whitehead.
"All of our members have a lot of questions about how they will have to implement Bill 148, it's more than just minimum wage, so there is questions about scheduling, questions about what happens when people call in sick. We are bringing the Ministry in because they are the experts to make a short presentation and then we are going to open the floor afterwards to questions from local businesses so they can get answers, specific to their types of businesses."
The information session is happening tomorrow morning at 7:30 at Cowan Park. The event is free and you can register beforehand by emailing gm@woodstockchamber.ca www.woodstockchamber.ca, you can also show up tomorrow morning for 7:30. More information can be found online here.
