Police are searching for a man who they say robbed two stores in the span of 5 minutes in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are searching for a man after two robberies in the friendly city in the span of five minutes.
The first robbery happened this morning at 12:56 at the Petro Canada Station on Norwich Avenue. Police say a man walked into the store demanding money. He fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Then just five minutes later police believe the same man robbed the Mac's Milk Variety Store on Norwich Ave. Once again the man entered the store demanding cash and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police are looking for a man between the ages of 25 and 35 who was wearing a black hat with a grey pattern on it, a white tag on the right side and red dragon on the left side, blue fleece jacket, grey shirt under the blue jacket, dark pants, black running shoes, black and grey baseball style gloves.
Both crimes are being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Branch and anyone with information is asked to contact Woodstock Police or Crime Stoppers.
