They were both in local hospitals last week.
TILLSONBURG/WOODSTOCK - Southwestern Public Health is investigating two cases of measles exposure.
Officials say those who were in the Emergency Department of Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 14th could have been exposed to the virus.
The same goes for those who were in the Emergency Department of the Woodstock Hospital from 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday January 15th to 1:45 a.m. on Thursday January 16th.
Acing Medical Officer of Health Dr. Joyce Lock says they're trying to contact everyone who was exposed.
"We are working quite closely with the health care settings to inform all known contacts. I want to stress that there was no gap in infection control processes identified. This message is really intended for people who were at these locations that we cannot reach, such as people who visited even briefly during the timeframes. It is our responsibility to inform anyone as quickly as possible if they have been exposed to this virus."
If you were exposed to the virus and you're not up to date on your vaccinations you should call the health unit at 1-800-922-0096.
