The TVDSB reported six new confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19 over the weekend. Outbreaks have also been declared at Huron Park Secondary School in Woodstock and McGregor Public School in Aylmer.
TVDSB - Two new COVID-19 outbreaks have been declared within the Thames Valley District School Board.
One is at Huron Park Secondary School in Woodstock and the other affects McGregor Public School in Aylmer. Thames Valley is currently reporting 3 active cases within each school community and both schools remain open at this time.
Southwestern Public Health declares a COVID-19 outbreak whenever officials find a connection between at least two cases.
A total of six new confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19 were reported within the entire school board over the weekend. This list of affected schools includes East Oxford Public School, Southside Public School in Woodstock, Davenport Public School in Aylmer and Wilberforce Public School in Lucan.
Thames Valley is now reporting a total of 19 active cases within the Wilberforce PS community and the school is scheduled to reopen today following a week of online learning.
The TVDSB has already reached out to all of the parents, guardians and staff members affected by the most recent cases of COVID-19. This means if you did not receive a letter from the school board, your child is not considered to be at risk.
