Three of four local teams register losses
A rough night for local junior hockey teams as Woodstock fell 4-1 to Paris. Nathan Innes scored a powerplay goal early in the 1st period to give the Navy Vets a 1-0 lead they held on to into the 2nd period. Paris scored twice in the 2nd period and twice more in the 3rd period to take the win and jump into 1st place ahead of New Hamburg and Ayr in the 3-team battle at the top of the Midwestern league standings
