A tornado watch has been issued for Woodstock, Tillsonburg and Oxford County.
According to Environment Canada the conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which may produce tornadoes. Scattered thunderstorms are expected throughout the day and it is possible this could produce an isolated tornado. Environment Canada is advising residents to take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. If a tornado does happen the best place to be is in the basement or the lowest floor of your home. Stay away from walls and windows.
