An EF0 tornado touched down in Woodstock on Saturday, along with 55 to 65 milimetres of rain.
UPDATE (10:30 a.m.) - Environment Canada says the tornado could have had peak wind gusts of 130 kilometres per hour.
Warning Prepardness Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says that's the weakest on the tornado damage scale.
He also provided us with some measurements in terms of rainfall.
"There are three volunteer observation sites in the Woodstock area and they reported between 55 and 65 milimetres of rain falling the span of a few hours Saturday afternoon."
During his interview on the Heart FM Morning Show today, Mayor Jerry Acchione said the city had to call in extra staff from Public Works and Parks and Rec for the cleanup efforts, which continued into yesterday.
Coulson says we're not done with the stormy weather yet.
"It remains unsettled for most of this week. We have a chance of shower and thunderstorm activity for today but also Wednesday and Thursday. The best days of the week at this point in terms of dryness is looking to be Tuesday and Friday."
He adds we could have some mixed weather this weekend.
"For Saturday, it looks like it will be the better day of the weekend with temperatures around 23 for the daytime high which is a little below the long term normal of 26 for this time of the year. It could be a bit unsettled again on Sunday with a chance of shower and thunderstorm activity."
Coulson says the stormy conditions are caused by static weather patterns with lots of moisture and daytime highs the 20s, feeling like the 30s with the humidity.

WOODSTOCK - The Northern Tornadoes project has confirmed two tornadoes; one in Lindsay and the other in Woodstock.
Both of them touched down on Saturday and they have both been given preliminary EF0 ratings.
Saturday's storm also brought a lot of rain, which flooded many streets in Woodstock. City crews were still cleaning up the aftermath yesterday.
We will be reaching out to Environment Canada today, so we will have a full recap later today.
