The Brant OPP uncovered about $38,000 worth of stolen property after searching a home on Second Line on Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation last week.
BRANT COUNTY - A 48-year-old man from Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation is facing a list of criminal charges.
The Brant OPP executed a search warrant at a home on Second Line on Wednesday February 16th.
Officers uncovered about $38,000 worth of stolen property including several vehicles and a trailer. They also found a firearm with ammunition and a quantity of drugs.
Edward Allen Bishop will appear at the Brantford court house at a later date to answer to the following charges;
- Altering, destroying or removing a vehicle identification number - six counts
- Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition - two counts
- Fraud under $5,000
- Fraudulent concealment - six counts
- Opioid possession (other than heroin)
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 - two counts
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 - four counts
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
