Time is running out to register for the 3rd annual Bob McFarland Memorial Golf Classic at Woodstock Meadows on September 10th.
WOODSTOCK - They still have a few spots left for the 3rd annual Bob McFarland Memorial Golf Classic for the South Gate Centre.
The best ball tournament will take place at Woodstock Meadows on Saturday September 10th. Executive Director of South Gate Chris Cunningham tells Heart FM why they host this tournament in memory of Bob every year.
"Well Bob was just one of my very dear friends and he really was a friend to so many people, he was a champion of Woodstock, a huge advocate for the underdog and huge advocate for the South Gate Centre, he really helped put us on the map."
Cunningham says they are hoping to sellout once again this year.
"It's always a wonderful time, we have quite an eclectic group of people coming out to it as we always do, it usually sells out, well not usually it always does sell out so help us get there this year because we do have a few foursomes left."
The tournament costs $85 per person which includes 18 holes of golf, cart, snack, prizes and a Prime Rib dinner back at the South Gate Centre. You can find out how to sign up for the tournament here.
