The Annual Heart FM Stuff The Bus Campaign Is Underway

Kicking off Stuff The Bus is Mrs.Claus & Santa Ron with the Heart FM elves and Kathy Gardiner from Operation Sharing's Christmas Place

It's day 2 of Heart FM's Stuff the Bus Campaign. We are looking for new toys, new clothing, or non-perishable food items for kids of all ages.

WOODSTOCK - Heart FM's Stuff the Bus is back again for the Christmas season.

This is the second year that the event has taken place and all donations are given to the Salvation Army Food Bank and Operation Sharings, Christmas Place. 

We are accepting new unwrapped toys, new clothing, or non-perishable food items for families, all donations go to kids of all ages, and when the bus is filled it will be taken to Operation Sharing and the Salvation Army Food Bank.

Operation Sharing's Christmas Place Kathy Gardiner says they are happy to receive donations for their program.

"Last year over 392 parents and grandparents came to shop at Christmas place and our Christmas shop opens a week from tomorrow, on the 10th so this is our rush week where we hope more donations come in."

Along with food, gift, or clothing donations, you can also give cash donations during the Stuff the Bus week, if you want to make a cheque donation please contact the Heart FM station.

Gardiner says everyone deserves to have a nice Christmas and these donations help make that a reality.

"So we offer that opportunity at Christmas place for parents and grandparents to come and shop, then the kids come in on kids day on the 14th and they're allowed to shop for parents and siblings."

From today until Friday you can come down to the station at 223 Norwich Avenue and donate your items. When you donate, you can also fill out a ballot to win family passes to see Paw Patrol live in London this weekend.
